Secured grant funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada to collaborate with Dr. Emily Kroshus, a leading health communications researcher. Dr. Kroshus and I co-developed a project that established the foundation for evidence-based mental health education for sport coaches.

The project combined a narrative literature review and Delphi method to survey experts and achieve consensus on the behavioural role of coaches in supporting the mental health of athletes. Findings were synthesized into a manuscript and published in a peer-reviewed journal—having since been cited over 180 times in supplemental works.
